Supplies!!

A huge big THANK YOU to Mark Hagen of Rolf C. Hagen Inc. for yet another donation of amazing supplies from their Living World, Tropican and Prime range of products.

We are, as always, blown away at their generosity. On top of the donation, we had the pleasure of a visit from the wonderful Marc-Andre Villeneuve of the Hagen Avicultural Research Institute. He tirelessly carryied out health checks on our parrot babies, assisted with hand-feeding, food-prep and husbandry and many other daily tasks at Belize Bird Rescue, including the dreaded meal-worm sorting!

The comfy-perches are deployed and in use as we speak, and our babies are extra-healthy thanks to the fabulous Tropican hand-feeding formula we have packed into them this season!

At risk of sounding like a commercial, our parrots are visibly healthier since we began using the Prime vitamin supplement daily in every food bowl 12 months ago. It’s an amazing gift Hagen are giving these releasable birds: top-notch health to start their life in the wild.
