White front returns for help

Chompy was soft-released at BBR in 2012. He was one of three surrendered baby white-fronts: clipped 1-year olds, who soon grew in flight feathers, stopped vocalising and joined the flock around BBR shortly after release. A couple of weeks ago, Chompy appeared with a wound on the side of his mouth. He allowed Sarah to simply carry him into the clinic on a food basket: he was obviously in need of help and knew exactly where to come for it.

After a couple of weeks of medication and TLC, he was once again ready for the off.

Good luck again Chompy – and well done coming home for help.
